Each year Special Olympics Kansas recognizes outstanding athletes and individuals who contribute to the organization.
Special Olympics Athlete Leadership Programs (ALP’s) allow athletes to explore opportunities in roles previously considered “non-traditional”.
Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7, designed to introduce them to the world of Special Olympics.
The Unified Bocce Matches will be held at Gardner Edgerton High School, 425 Waverly Rd, Gardner, KS. The games will begin at 10:00am.
The Kansas Unified Sports League will host its first bocce matches of the season with area high schools, middle schools and adults competing. Teams are composted of Special Olympics athletes and volunteer partners who train and compete togther to enchance their skills and form friendships. Them exemplify that “Together, we will achieve.”
