Dysfunction in any of these areas can result in pain\, discomfort\, and sub-optimal activity performance in sports and everyday life. This exciting event will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM\, bringing together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to compete in basketball\, showing inclusion\, teamwork\, and fun. \nUnified Sports® is a key component of Special Olympics\, encouraging friendship and understanding between athletes of all abilities. On Match Day\, teams will be formed with both Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners (athletes without intellectual disabilities) to participate in a series of basketball games. These events showcase the true power of sport to break down barriers\, create connections\, and foster a sense of community. \nWhether you’re a fan of basketball\, a supporter of Special Olympics\, or simply looking to enjoy a morning of inclusive sports\, Unified Basketball Match Day is the perfect opportunity.
