SUMMARY:Healthy Athletes – Special Smiles
DESCRIPTION:Healthy Athletes – Special Smiles – Fall Outdoor Classic\nSpecial Olympics Kansas Healthy Athletes will host a Special Smiles dental screening during the Fall Outdoor Classic on Saturday\, October 3\, at TRYC in Wichita. \nSpecial Smiles provides athletes with an opportunity to receive free oral health screenings and education in a fun\, welcoming environment. Volunteers will assist with screenings\, athlete flow\, education and other event needs. \nSpecial Smiles screenings will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:00 a.m. to allow time for training before screenings begin. The event will conclude at approximately 1:00 p.m. \nLocation: TRYC\, 1700 N Ridge Rd.\, Wichita\, KS 67212\nVolunteer Arrival: 9:00 a.m.\nScreenings: 9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.\nEvent Area: Health and Fitness \nVolunteers are needed to help make this Healthy Athletes screening a success and ensure Special Olympics Kansas athletes have access to important health resources and education. \nVolunteer here
