DESCRIPTION:Metro Tennis SkillsMay 19\, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PMBlue Valley Northwest High School \nJoin us for the Metro Tennis Skills event\, where Special Olympics Kansas athletes will demonstrate and develop their fundamental tennis abilities in a fun and supportive environment. \nThis regional competition focuses on individual skill development\, including serving\, forehand and backhand strokes\, and overall coordination. Athletes will have the opportunity to build confidence\, improve technique\, and showcase their progress while competing alongside peers from across the metro area. \nMetro Tennis Skills is a great introduction to competition and provides a strong foundation for future match play opportunities. Spectators are encouraged to attend and cheer on the athletes as they grow in the sport. \nVolunteer opportunities are available to assist with skill stations\, scoring\, and event operations. Additional details will be shared with registered volunteers prior to the event. \nCome support an evening of growth\, achievement\, and inclusion on the court!
