SUMMARY:ABLE vs Special Needs Trusts: An in-depth Discussion
DESCRIPTION:This is an ONLINE  webinar provided by Northwestern Mutual. \nABLE vs Special Needs Trusts: An in-depth Discussion” Thursday\, August 29th at 11am (CDT): https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/2674258969697182477 \n\n\n\nThis workshop provides parents\, guardians and family members a brief overview of SSI & Medicaid\, as well as two of the tools that may be incorporated into a special needs financial plan. Topics discussed will include SSI\, Medicaid & Waivers\, and the pros and cons of ABLE accounts and special needs trusts to help family members better understand how planning for a child with special needs is different both legally & financially.\n\n\n\nJoin us\, get your questions answered and talk with a fellow parent in a non-threatening\, non-pressure environment. \nSpeaker: Debbie Niemann’s 15-year-old daughter\, Cecilia\, has cerebral palsy and complex medical issues.  As a parent to a child with special needs\, she understands the mentality of living one day at a time\, but this approach falls short when it comes to providing a financially secure future and desired quality of life.  Debbie is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual and has her Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation through the American College. \nDebbie Niemann\, MBA\, ChSNC\nFinancial Advisor \n5251 W 116th Pl\, Ste 300\, Leawood\, KS  66211\nP: 913.748.0614\nC: 816.506.0884\nF: 913.362.1215\nhttp://deborahniemann.nm.com\nCA LIC 0M70994
