SUMMARY:Healthy Athletes - FUNFitness
DESCRIPTION:FUNFitness at KC Metro Regional Volleyball and Cornhole\nMove\, learn and take a step toward better health at the FUNFitness KC Metro Regional! \nFUNfitness is a discipline of Special Olympics Healthy Athletes® that helps athletes learn more about their physical fitness and how taking care of their bodies can support their health and performance. During a FUNfitness screening\, athletes participate in a series of activities that assess four key areas of fitness: flexibility\, functional strength\, balance and aerobic fitness. \nWith guidance from trained health professionals\, athletes can learn about their individual strengths and areas for improvement while receiving education and recommendations for exercises and healthy habits they can use beyond the event. FUNfitness helps athletes better understand their bodies\, build confidence in their abilities and work toward their personal best both in sports and in everyday life. \nDate: October 25\, 2026\nTime: 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.\nLocation: Heart of America KCK\, 548 S.
