Unified Esports Open Play

Join us for an exciting evening of gaming at the first-ever Unified Esports Open Play on September 25, 2024, hosted at the West Wyandotte Library in Kansas City, KS. Special Olympics Kansas Unified Champion Schools have partnered with the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library and the KCK Police Department to bring this unique event to the KCK Metro region.

This open play event invites schools from across the region to participate in a variety of esports games, where players with and without intellectual disabilities team up to compete in a fun and inclusive environment. Featured games include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rocket League, Madden, NBA 2K, and more.
