To make a bequest to the Special Olympics movement in the U.S., and around the world, we recommend the following language:
- “I give, devise, and bequeath ____% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate (or the sum of $___) to Special Olympics Kansas-Mission, Kansas, for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
- “I give, devise, and bequeath ____% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate (or the sum of $___) to Special Olympics Inc., Washington, DC, for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
If you wish to include Special Olympics Kansas, Inc., or Special Olympics, Inc. (worldwide headquarters), or both; a gift in your will or other estate plan, it’s important to use the correct legal designation and Tax ID Number (EIN).
