Is it time to Review Your Will?
Planned Giving helps donors provide a legacy for future Special Olympics athletes who dream of one day winning gold!
Our giving might be something learned from our parents, based in faith, or driven by a life-changing event. Whatever, your motivation, your legacy gift will ensure that our work empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through health programs, sports training and competition continues long into the futures.
For more information, visit our gift planning website.
To make a bequest to the Special Olympics movement in the U.S., and around the world, we recommend the following language:
- “I give, devise, and bequeath ____% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate (or the sum of $___) to Special Olympics Kansas-Mission, Kansas, for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
- “I give, devise, and bequeath ____% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate (or the sum of $___) to Special Olympics Inc., Washington, DC, for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
It is highly recommended that donors consult with their own tax or legal advisors prior to making a planned gift.
We will be good stewards of the funds entrusted to us. You deserve nothing less.
