Local law enforcement officers are trading in their badges for aprons at Texas Roadhouse in Manhattan for a Tip-A-Cop event benefiting Special Olympics Kansas!

On Wednesday, December 3, from 2:30–9:30 PM, officers from area agencies will be serving guests, refilling drinks, and collecting “tips” — all to support year-round sports, health, and leadership programs for Special Olympics Kansas athletes.

Tip-A-Cop is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), the largest grassroots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics. Each dollar “tipped” to officers goes directly toward helping athletes train, compete, and grow through the power of sport.

Enjoy a delicious meal, meet your local officers and Special Olympics athletes, and make a difference in your community — one tip at a time!
