Get ready to make a splash for a cause at the coolest pool party of the year! Join hundreds of plungers as they brave the cold waters of Shawnee Mission Park Lake to support Special Olympics Kansas. Every dollar raised helps provide year-round sports training, health programs, leadership opportunities, and inclusive community experiences for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Not a fan of cold water? No problem — you can still make an impact by donating, volunteering, or coming out to cheer on the brave participants!

Schedule:
9:00 a.m. – Registration Opens
10:00 a.m. – Polar Strut 5K
11:00 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
11:10 a.m. – Costume Contest
11:30 a.m. – Polar Plunge
