Get ready to dive into the cold for a purpose! The 2026 Pittsburg Polar Plunge supports Special Olympics Kansas and helps provide year‑round sports training, health and nutrition programs, leadership opportunities, and inclusive community experiences for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Whether you’re plunging into icy water or cheering from the sidelines, your participation makes a meaningful difference.
Date & Time: February 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Location: TBD
Purpose: Raise funds to support Special Olympics Kansas athletes — helping ensure they have access to training, competition and community.
Fundraising Impact Example: A donation of $50 helps provide five athlete meals at a Special Olympics event.
Register to plunge solo or form a team with friends, family or coworkers.
Fundraise or donate — every dollar goes directly toward athlete programs and inclusion.
Volunteer or attend as a supporter — you can be part of the event’s energy even without going into the water.
By plunging, donating or showing up, you’re helping to:
Empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to build confidence, gain skills and belong in their community.
Create inclusive environments where everyone is valued and no one is left out.
Strengthen the “One Team” spirit — because together, we make a bigger impact.
Register your team, set up your fundraising page and start spreading the word! Costumes are encouraged — bring your energy, your squad, and your supporting spirit for a memorable day of fun and change.
