Special Olympics Kansas is excited to host the 2025 West Regional Cornhole Competition in Dodge City. This event will bring together athletes from across western Kansas for a fun, competitive, and inclusive day of cornhole. Taking place at the Dodge City High School Indoor Football Facility, athletes will compete in singles, doubles, and Unified Sports formats, giving them the chance to demonstrate their skills, teamwork, and determination.
Cornhole has quickly become one of the most popular sports in Special Olympics Kansas because it is easy to learn, accessible to athletes of all ability levels, and creates a lively, supportive atmosphere. The West Regional Cornhole competition will highlight not only the athletic achievements of participating athletes but also the friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging that Special Olympics fosters.
Volunteers are essential to the success of this event. Roles include athlete check-in, scorekeeping, assisting at the boards, awards distribution, and general event support. No prior cornhole experience is needed—just enthusiasm, encouragement, and a willingness to support our athletes. By volunteering, you’ll be part of a memorable day that celebrates inclusion and community pride in western Kansas.
Spectators are welcome to attend and cheer on the athletes throughout the competition. Admission is free, and families, friends, and community members are encouraged to join in the excitement and witness firsthand the joy and determination of Special Olympics athletes.
Join us on Saturday, November 15, in Dodge City for the 2025 Special Olympics Kansas West Regional Cornhole Competition. Whether you are volunteering, spectating, or competing, this event is a celebration of ability, teamwork, and the power of inclusion.
