The IdeaTek Athlete of the Month for October is Laverne Gitchel!
Laverne has been an Athlete for over 10 years with the Arc of Central Plains of Hays, KS. She plays basketball, cheerleading, track, soccer, bowling, flag football, softball, and volleyball. She works at Via Christi in Hays in the kitchen for over a year!
Laverne is a leader in inclusion and friendship. She volunteers in the children’s ministry at Celebration Community Church in Hays for around 9 years helping out in every way she can.
