Hometown: Manhattan, Kansas
Luke Pratt has been part of Special Olympics Kansas for more than 10 years, building a lifelong love for competition, teamwork, and staying active. Over the years, Luke has competed in a wide range of sports, but in 2026, he’s proud to represent Team Kansas in track and field at the USA Games.
Through Special Olympics, Luke has learned to focus on himself, tune out negativity, and stay committed to being a kind person while keeping his body healthy. That mindset has helped shape his success both on and off the field. One of his proudest accomplishments is working at the K-State Recreation Center for the past 10 years, along with competing at the 2023 World Games in Berlin as part of a Unified Volleyball team.
When he’s not training, Luke enjoys playing video games, working out daily, and competing in 5K runs. He draws inspiration from his dad and the coworkers who encourage him every day, and he brings that same positivity to everyone around him.
Being selected for the 2026 USA Games means an opportunity to meet new people and experience a new city and state, all while doing what he loves. Luke is training every day, with extra focus on strengthening his legs and core, preparing to give his best effort on the national stage and proudly represent Kansas.
