Welcome to the Special Olympics Kansas 2024 State Softball Competition! We are excited to invite you to join us for this two-day event filled with incredible athletic performances, community spirit, and volunteer opportunities. This year’s competitions will take place on October 5-6, 2024, in Wichita, KS, promising a weekend of fun, camaraderie, and inspiring sportsmanship.
Event Details:
- Day 1: October 5, 2024, from 8 AM – 3 PM at Twin Rivers Youth Club (TRYC), Wichita, KS
- Dinner Dance: October 5, 2024, at 6 PM following softball competitions at Red Roof Inn (6815 W Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67212)
- Day 2: October 6, 2024, from 8 AM – 1 PM at Twin Rivers Youth Club (TRYC), Wichita, KS

Event Highlights
Day 1: Softball Games and Community Fun
- Join us at the Twin Rivers Youth Club from 8 AM to 3 PM for a day of exciting softball games. Athletes from across Kansas will showcase their skills in various divisions, ensuring thrilling matches for all spectators.
- After the games, celebrate with us at the Dinner Dance, starting at 6 PM at the Red Roof Inn. This event offers a wonderful opportunity for athletes, families, volunteers, and supporters to relax, socialize, and enjoy a fun-filled evening together.
Day 2: Final Games and Awards Ceremony
- The competition continues on October 6 from 8 AM to 1 PM at Twin Rivers Youth Club. Watch as teams compete in the final rounds of the tournament, followed by the awards ceremony where we honor the outstanding performances and sportsmanship of our athletes.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at the Special Olympics Kansas State Softball Competitions is a rewarding way to make a positive impact. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds to help with various roles, ensuring the event runs smoothly and successfully.
Volunteer Roles:
