Join us for the 2025 Special Olympics Kansas State Bowling Tournament on August 8th and 9th! Athletes from across the state will gather to compete in one of the most popular and exciting sports in Special Olympics. This two-day event will take place at Olathe East Lanes (303 N. Lindenwood, Olathe, KS 66062) and Park Lanes (7701 Renner Dr, Shawnee, KS 66217), bringing together athletes, coaches, families, and fans for a weekend of skill, sportsmanship, and celebration.
Competitors will showcase their talent in both individual and team bowling events, striving for personal bests and top honors in their divisions. The tournament emphasizes inclusion, perseverance, and fun, as athletes demonstrate their dedication and hard work in a supportive and energetic atmosphere.
We encourage volunteers, fans, and community members to come out and cheer on our athletes as they take to the lanes. Whether you are a long-time supporter or new to Special Olympics Kansas, this event is a fantastic way to witness the impact of sports and celebrate the achievements of our athletes.

In June, Team Kansas will represent our state at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games — competing against thousands of athletes from across the country. For many, it’s the biggest moment of their athletic career.
But here’s the reality: getting our team to Minnesota doesn’t happen without serious community support. Travel, uniforms, equipment, meals, and competition fees add up fast. Every dollar raised goes directly toward making sure our athletes can focus on one thing — competing their hearts out.
