2026 Fall Inclusive Leadership Summit
Calling all student leaders! Special Olympics Kansas invites middle and high school students to the 2026 Fall Inclusive Leadership Summit, a day dedicated to building leadership skills, creating inclusive communities and developing ideas that make schools more accessible for everyone.
Students will participate in engaging leadership activities, explore ways to create meaningful inclusion in their schools, develop accessible innovations and connect with other student leaders from across the Kansas City metro area. Students will also have the opportunity to play games and explore the NCAA Coaches Hall of Fame at the College Basketball Experience.
Educators will participate in a dedicated teacher track featuring Unified Champion Schools best practices, resources and strategies they can bring back to their schools.
Who Can Attend?
Each participating school may bring:
- One school liaison or representative
- Up to three Unified pairs
A Unified pair includes one athlete with an intellectual disability and one Unified partner without an intellectual disability.
The event is free for participating schools, and lunch will be provided.
