2026 State Powerlifting and Flag Football

Join us in Pittsburg for the 2026 State Powerlifting & Flag Football competitions, where Special Olympics Kansas athletes from across the state will come together to showcase their strength, skill, and determination.

Powerlifting will take place on July 17 at the Robert W. Plaster Center, while Flag Football competition will follow on July 18, with events held at both the Robert W. Plaster Center and Carnie Smith Stadium.

This two-day event highlights the incredible dedication of our athletes as they compete at the state level, supported by coaches, volunteers, and fans from across Kansas. From the intensity of powerlifting to the fast-paced action of flag football, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
