Healthy Hearing at State Basketball and Cheerleading
Join us for the Healthy Athletes Healthy Hearing screening during the State Basketball Tournament! This free health program provides Special Olympics athletes with professional hearing screenings and education to help ensure they can perform at their best both on and off the court.
Hosted at the Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays, athletes will meet with trained health professionals who will conduct hearing screenings, identify potential concerns, and provide guidance on hearing health and follow-up care if needed. Healthy Hearing helps detect hearing issues early so athletes can stay connected, communicate effectively, and fully participate in sports and daily life.
The screening will take place on March 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. alongside the excitement of the State Basketball Tournament.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with event setup and support throughout the day, including helping with tables, chairs, and maintaining the screening space.
