Each year Special Olympics Kansas recognizes outstanding athletes and individuals who contribute to the organization.
Special Olympics Athlete Leadership Programs (ALP’s) allow athletes to explore opportunities in roles previously considered “non-traditional”.
Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7, designed to introduce them to the world of Special Olympics.
Are you STRONG enough to PULL for Special Olympics Kansas? Gather your team of less than 1500 pounds today!
Each team, with a total combined weight of 1,500 lbs max, pull a fire truck and armored tactical vehicle. Teams pull both vehicles 50 ft and compete for fastest time. Also – each participating team will pull the vehicle with the fewest number of people and that team will be weighed for the lightest and fastest teams.
Registration/fundraising amount:
1,500 pull – $250 minimum
1,500 and lightest weight pull – $300 minimum
All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability before participating. Registration 1:00 p.m. Pull begins at 2:30 p.m. To benefit Special Olympics Kansas athletes.
AWARDS: Fastest Pull–1st, 2nd and 3rd place, Highest Fundraising Team, Lowest Combined weight with fastest pull
