Special Olympics Kansas invites our sports coaches to take part in an online fitness training course that will provide you with the tools and resources to help improve your athletes lives through incorporating fitness components in your training.
This event is for the general public who would like to join the Torch Run in Maize as it enters Maize South High School for the Opening Ceremonies of the State Summer Games! If you register online, you can use the “check-in” line the day of the event to get your shirt and bypass walk-up registration lines.
Check-in and walk up registration will take place at Sam’s Club, 3084 N Maize Rd at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1. The fun run/walk will start at 7:30 p.m., or when the torch arrives at Sam’s Club. We will end at Maize South High School around 8:30, when the Law Enforcement Torch Run enters the Opening Ceremonies of our State Summer Games.
Cost to join the run is $25 through May 22. After May 22 the cost is $30. The fee includes a 2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run t-shirt.
