Each year Special Olympics Kansas recognizes outstanding athletes and individuals who contribute to the organization.
Special Olympics Athlete Leadership Programs (ALP’s) allow athletes to explore opportunities in roles previously considered “non-traditional”.
Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7, designed to introduce them to the world of Special Olympics.
Beat the summer heat and take a run at midnight!
The annual Midnight Run kicks off at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th at the Hen House located at 11721 Roe Ave. in Leawood, KS.
Three distance options are available – 1-mile fun run, 5K and 10K.
The 10K option is part of the 100K KC Running Co. Challenge.

This event is hosted by the Leawood Police Department.
All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Kansas.

$30 — thru May 5th
$35 — May 6th to June 2nd
$40 — June 3rd to July 19th
$45 — week of the race/walk-ups
All participants will receive an event t-shirt. Be one of the first 250 to register and receive an event medal as well.
