Join us for the Riley County Torch Run as law enforcement officers and community members come together to support Special Olympics Kansas through the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).

The day will begin with the torch pickup in Manhattan before making its way to the Ogden Community Center (220 Willow St), where the Torch Run team is expected to arrive around noon. Following arrival, participants will gather for team photos at 12:30 PM in front of the RCPD food truck before continuing the run.

At approximately 1:00 PM, runners will carry the Flame of Hope to the Ft. Riley gate for a special torch handoff with Military Police. After the run, participants will return to the Ogden Community Center to cool off and celebrate with popsicles.

This meaningful event highlights the strong partnership between law enforcement, military personnel, and Special Olympics Kansas, all working together to champion inclusion and opportunity for athletes across the state.
