Tip-A-Cop: Texas Roadhouse

Join us for a special Tip-A-Cop event benefiting Special Olympics Kansas, hosted in partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and both Wichita Texas Roadhouse locations! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 4th, when law enforcement officers will trade in their uniforms for aprons and serve as your guest waitstaff, all in support of a great cause.

The event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., but the opportunity to support Special Olympics Kansas extends beyond that. From 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., both Texas Roadhouse locations in Wichita will donate 10% of proceeds to Special Olympics Kansas. To ensure that your meal contributes to this donation, patrons must show the attached event flyer to their server.

Tip-A-Cop events are a fantastic way for the community to come together and support local athletes. The law enforcement officers volunteering during the event are members of LETR, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Special Olympics programs. While officers serve meals, they’ll also be collecting “tips” in support of Special Olympics Kansas, helping to fund sports training, competitions, and opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
