Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7, designed to introduce them to the world of Special Olympics.
Young Athletes Fest – A Day of Inclusion & Fun!
Join us for the Young Athletes Fest on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Tonganoxie High School! This exciting event is designed to introduce children to the world of sports in a fun, inclusive, and engaging way.

Time: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
The Young Athletes Fest is open to all children ages 2-12 and will be divided into two sessions:
Ages 2-7: Interactive activity stations focusing on building foundational motor skills and confidence.
Ages 8-12: Fundamental sport-specific skills to help prepare for future opportunities in Special Olympics sports and Unified Sports.
