Special Olympics Kansas invites our sports coaches to take part in an online fitness training course that will provide you with the tools and resources to help improve your athletes lives through incorporating fitness components in your training.
Join us for a motor skills program that focuses on physical activities that develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination for young children ages 2-7 years old with intellectual disabilities. Siblings and guardians are encouraged to participate as well!
Young Athletes™ is an innovative sports play program for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 2-7, designed to introduce them to the world of sports, prior to Special Olympics eligibility at age 8. The program focuses on the development of fundamental physical skills and the application of those skills through general fitness and recreational activities.
