Thank you for your support of Special Olympics Kansas and our 5,100 athletes participating in programs throughout the state

Contributions from Evergy employees through the Employee Giving Campaign help fund local Special Olympics tournaments and the costs associated with offering high-quality events, such as facility rental, athlete medals, volunteer t-shirts, sports equipment and meals. Each year, over 500 local athletes and coaches compete in Topeka based regional competitions, such as the regional track and field meet held each spring at Shawnee Heights High School and the regional bowling tournament held at West Ridge Lanes.
