2026 USA Games Final Leg – Wichita

Be part of a powerful and historic moment as Wichita hosts the Final Leg of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games Torch Run.
Law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes will carry the Flame of Hope through the heart of Wichita, symbolizing the beginning of the USA Games and honoring the dedication, courage, and spirit of athletes across the nation.
The run will begin at Old Cowtown Museum, travel along the scenic river path past iconic Wichita landmarks including the Keeper of the Plains and Exploration Place, and continue through downtown before finishing at Wichita City Hall at the Law Enforcement Memorial.
This meaningful event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), uniting officers, athletes, and the community in support of inclusion and opportunity for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Spectators are encouraged to line the route, cheer on participants, and be part of this inspiring sendoff to the USA Games.
Come witness the Flame of Hope as it makes its way through Wichita and help celebrate the athletes representing Kansas on the national stage!
