Event Description:
Special Olympics Kansas is excited to host the KC Metro Regional Bocce Tournament on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Shawnee Mission South High School! This full-day event brings together athletes from across the Kansas City metro area to compete in one of our most popular and accessible sports—bocce.
Bocce is a sport of strategy, skill, and precision that’s enjoyed by athletes of all ages and abilities. Whether rolling for points or cheering from the sidelines, this tournament offers an incredible display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and inclusion. Athletes will compete in singles and doubles competitions, working to showcase their training and love of the game. The atmosphere will be filled with excitement, support, and celebration as athletes roll their way toward gold, silver, and bronze medals.
The KC Metro Regional Bocce Tournament is not just about competition—it’s about community. Families, friends, volunteers, and spectators are all encouraged to attend and support our athletes. The event promises to be a day filled with memorable moments, new friendships, and joyful celebration.
Volunteers are a key part of making the day successful. If you or your organization would like to help out on event day, please contact Tim for more information or click here.
Come out and enjoy a day of bocce, camaraderie, and inspiration. Let’s roll, KC!
