Each year Special Olympics Kansas recognizes outstanding athletes and individuals who contribute to the organization.
Special Olympics Athlete Leadership Programs (ALP’s) allow athletes to explore opportunities in roles previously considered “non-traditional”.
Innovative sports play programs for children with intellectual disabilities, ages 3-7, designed to introduce them to the world of Special Olympics.
The Metro Bowling Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 7 at Olathe East Lanes, 303 N Lindenwood Dr, Olathe, KS and Park Lanes Family Fun Center, 7701 Renner Rd, Shawnee, KS. The event will be held from 9:00a.m. – 2:00p.m.
Youth and ramp bowlers will bowl at 9:00a.m.; adults will begin at 11:15a.m. This is an approximation to help with planning, exact athlete bowling times will be sent out by Aug 4.
Registration information will be sent out by July 9. Registration deadline – July 23
